01Scope of This Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and returns work across all products and services offered by Math Does Matter LLC / Diverse Interactive Learning:

This Policy is incorporated into, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Because billing is handled differently for each product, the refund terms are organized by Service below. If a Service-specific section conflicts with a general statement elsewhere in this Policy, the Service-specific section controls.

02Praxis Prep App (Google Play / Apple App Store)

The Praxis Prep App is a paid subscription distributed exclusively through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

To request a refund or cancel a Praxis Prep App subscription, use the refund and cancellation tools provided by the platform where the purchase was made:

• Google Play — manage or cancel a subscription, or request a refund, through the Google Play Store's own subscription and order-history tools.
• Apple App Store — manage or cancel a subscription, or request a refund, through Apple's own subscription-management settings or by contacting Apple Support.

Cancelling through the app store stops future billing but does not retroactively refund a period already paid for unless the app store's own refund policy applies.

03Test Prep App / Membership Plans

Covers SSAT, ISEE, HSPT, and other Test Prep App membership plans on diverseilearning.com.

Our SSAT, ISEE, and HSPT prep memberships — and other Test Prep App membership plans — are digital products that provide immediate access to lessons, quizzes, tests, and AI-supported tools upon purchase.

Try the platform with confidence. First-time paid memberships are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. After that window, you may cancel at any time to stop future billing.

• We offer a full refund within 14 days of the initial paid membership purchase only. After 14 days, all payments are non-refundable.
• Refunds do not apply to renewals, upgrades, downgrades, or accounts that have made substantial use of premium content.
• You may cancel your membership at any time to stop future billing. Cancellation does not refund charges already processed.
• To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of purchase at Info@diverseilearning.com.

04Homeschool App

The Homeschool App is provided free of charge and is not billed; access is tied to an active subscription to our free weekly parent newsletter, as described in our Terms of Service. Because no payment is collected for the Homeschool App, no refund is applicable.

05Tutoring Center (Online and Onsite) — Client Service Agreement & Policy

Applies to the Tutoring Center only.

Package Tiers, Trial Sessions & Expiration Terms

• Single Trial Session (1 Hour): Available for new clients to try our services. Limit one per student. Paid in full before scheduling.
• Standard Packages (4, 12, or 40 Hours): Paid in full upfront or via an approved payment plan before scheduling.
• Test Prep Sessions (2, 3, 5, or 10 Hours): Dedicated strictly to test preparation and must be paid in full upfront (no payment plan available for these).
• Standard & Trial Expiration: Single trial sessions and packages of 4 and 12 hours expire 60 days from purchase. High-volume 40-hour packages expire 180 days from purchase.
• Test Prep Expiration: All test prep packages expire exactly 30 days after the student's official test date, or 90 days from purchase, whichever comes first.
• Forfeiture: Unused hours past expiration are forfeited. No extensions.

Payment Plan Structure & Installment Terms

• 12-Hour Package Plan: Split into 2 equal installments. The first installment is due upon enrollment. The second installment is automatically billed 30 days later.
• 40-Hour Package Plan: Split into 10 equal installments. The first installment is due upon enrollment. The remaining 9 installments are automatically billed monthly on the same calendar day.
• Automatic Billing: All payment plans require a valid credit card on file. Payments are processed automatically on their scheduled due dates.
• Failed Payments & Paused Services: If an installment payment fails, tutoring sessions are immediately paused. Services resume only after the account balance is made current.
• Full Financial Commitment: Opting for an installment plan does not reduce total liability. You remain legally responsible for completing all installments, regardless of student attendance or early withdrawal.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

You may cancel or reschedule a tutoring session without charge by emailing your assigned Tutor directly and copying (cc'ing) Info@diverseilearning.com at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session start time. You may reschedule no more than one (1) time per month.

Student Tardiness. The Tutor will wait 15 minutes for you or your student to arrive or join. If the student has not arrived within 15 minutes, the session is logged as a "No-Show" and deducted from your balance in full. If the student arrives within the 15-minute window, the session continues but is not extended — you only have the remaining scheduled time, unless the Tutor agrees otherwise. Lost time due to student lateness will not be made up.

Refund & Return Policy (Tutoring-Specific)

• Strict No-Refund Policy. All sales of trial sessions, standard packages, test prep bundles, and installment payments are 100% final.
• Service Credits (in lieu of refund). If you're unsatisfied after your very first session (including a trial session), notify us within 24 hours of that session. We will match you with a different Tutor and credit any remaining package hours — or a makeup trial session — to your account.
• No Cash Back. We do not offer cash, check, or credit card refunds under any circumstances.

Company Commitments

• Tutor Tardiness. If a Tutor is late, the missed time will be added to the end of the session or credited back to your balance.
• Tutor Absence. If a Tutor cancels a scheduled session, we will provide a qualified substitute Tutor or reschedule the session at your convenience, with no penalty to you.

06How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for any Service, contact us at Info@diverseilearning.com with:

• the Service (Test Prep App membership, Praxis Prep App, or Tutoring Center);
• the account email or name used at purchase; and
• the reason for the request.

07Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Returns Policy from time to time. Changes apply prospectively and will not affect a purchase already completed under the prior version of this Policy. Continued use of any Service after we post an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
